Dr. Wang, Associate Investigator, Lecturer Professor of Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, received her doctorate degree in Genetics and certificate of medical practitioner’s qualification from the Academy of Military Medical Sciences. She has a multidisciplinary background in Clinical Medicine, Genetics and Bioinformatics. She furthered her postdoctoral research in the Department of Automation of Tsinghua University and Texas A&M University in United States.
     She was the former director of the Beijing Institute of Biotechnology, Project Chief Scientist. She has been focusing on the molecular mechanisms of tumorigenesis and drug development, Bioinformatics, and Genomics research in the past two decades. She took charge of or participated in a number research projects related to disease models of tumors, cancer drug discovery and development, whole-genome sequencing.
     She undertook multiple national renowned projects of 863, 973, National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, etc. And her total funding was more than 10 million RMB.
     Dr. Wang published 33 original academic papers on the top tier journals including PNAS, RNA, JBC and DNA Research, etc. She achieved 1 patent for national invention authorization and 2 patents in the application process for national invention authorization.
